Spearfish, South Dakota, USA — June 10, 2026 — AVC Global Inc. today announced the market launch of SmartHub Connect™ V4, its next-generation L5+ pharmaceutical traceability and regulatory control platform, under AVC Innovations LLC, the company’s product, platform, and intellectual property business. 

SmartHub Connect™ V4 is designed to help governments and regulators move beyond basic EPCIS data exchange into validated submissions, MAH onboarding and certification, regulator oversight, exception resolution, field and public product verification, and tamper-evident digital evidence. The platform is built into AVC’s patented SmartHub–SmartPass ecosystem and is supported by SmartHub Connect™, AVC’s broader data and evidence architecture, and SmartPass® Verify, its mobile product-verification layer. 

SmartHub Connect™ was first deployed in an earlier V1 form in 2025 through Medical Value Chain W.L.L. in support of Ethiopia’s national pharmaceutical traceability program with the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (EFDA). SmartHub Connect™ V4 reflects AVC’s next-generation product architecture, shaped by live national program experience across MAH onboarding, EPCIS submission workflows, validation requirements, exception management, and regulator oversight. 

Traditional L4 traceability and EPCIS systems are designed to create, transmit, and exchange compliance data. That function is necessary, but it does not by itself operate a national pharmaceutical traceability program. Once hundreds of MAHs, importers, and technical providers begin submitting data, governments need a higher execution layer; one that validates submissions at ingest, normalizes data into a consistent regulatory model, issues evidence-grade receipts, tracks exceptions and remediation history, measures onboarding progress, and gives regulators control-tower visibility into program readiness and enforcement risk.
